2024 Spring Season - April 15th
Hello Select,
It was a beautiful weekend where five of our FTB teams played their hearts out in the USSSA tournament hosted in Apopka and a GOB tournament in Leesburg.
Proudly leading the charge was our FTB Select 11u team, noticing a big win on Sunday securing a Semi-final appearance which was decided by one run and came down to the last out in the last inning. Our FTB Select 13u Mizuno notched a win on Saturday and played competitive baseball all weekend.
Even though we came up a bit short of wins, our 14u Select and 14u blue competed hard this weekend. Our FTB Softball did really well this weekend winning booth games on Saturday to notch a #1 seed going into pool play!
As we move forward, we're committed to honing the skills of our athletes, both individually and collectively. This week's practice sessions will focus on refining specific areas where improvement is needed. We stress the importance of attendance at these practices, as it plays a vital role in the success of our players and teams.
Summer Season
As we eagerly anticipate our summer trips, I'm excited to share some additional details about our summer plans. We'll be offering Summer Day Camps for our players and a Wood Bat League for those interested in furthering their development. Please refer to the Monday announcement email for more information.
